[Video] Ant OhSo Dank – Codeine Dreaming (Remix) | @LookAntOhSoDank

After delivering the impressive dual visual for “Save Me / Skrilla”, Massachusetts based rapper Ant OhSo Dank returns to the big screen with his “Codeine Dreaming (Remix)”, directed by AMR Final Filmz

The vigorous artist opens up the song with compelling words, addressing the deceptive state of current rap and the lies many of modern day artists portray. Ant once again rips a known rapper’s instrumental and totally owns it, as he previously did with his last video. Kodak Black’s “Codeine Dreaming” gets totally re-worked into a story based on the underdog’s rise to glory. Though Dank doesn’t really need to rely on gimmicks to garner attention, he makes sure he looks dapper for the visual presentation by donning a clean pair of Jordans along with a vintage Rockstar jean jacket.

Dank’s delivery and voice help him stand out from the pack. A well balanced mix of metaphors and melodies help propel Ant into the artist to watch for category. With installments such as “Codeine Dreaming” added to his arsenal, the sky is the limit for the young East Coast mainstay. In the performance based visual, OhSo gives it to us uncut and raw within an abandoned building setting. This setting is also symbolic to the rapper’s outlook of being all alone in his own lane. Speaking of which, he hovers around a classic automobile and leans out the passenger window spitting his verbiage.

As if “Codeine Dreaming” was enough to impress, Ant has announced his next venture, a video for “Peso”. This song will be found on his forthcoming “Out The HallWay” album that will feature all original production as with “Peso”. So expect to see alot more of Ant OhSo Dank in the coming times. For the meantime however, indulge in the visual treatment for the “Codeine Dreaming (Remix)” above.
