The video dropped earlier this month and is catching fire for its harsh content and portrayal of all of these media figures being kidnapped and taken to a place where they are “reprogrammed.” Out of everyone, Willie D saves most of his vitriol for NBA veteran Charles Barkley who is seen at the beginning of the video admitting to being a “coon.” “My name is Charles Barkley. And I’m a coon and it’s just terrible, terrible terrible,” says the Barkley lookalike who the rapper threatens to beat up later on in the song. Willie D also takes aim at Fox News correspondent and “Clueless” star Stacey Dash, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and Donald Trump supporters who are any “ethnicity other than white.” The whole video seems to be inspired by the late great Tupac Shakur who created music videos in the 1990s with Puff Daddy and Notorious B.I.G. lookalikes while dissing them. He even reprises Tupac’s infamous rant at the end of “Hit Em Up” at the end of the new video. “F**k Charles Barkley and the ground he walk on. And if you f***in with Charles Barkley f**k you too. Yeah I said it. It’s Willie D,” the rapper yelled.
