Twista Eludes Drug Charges
Drug charges related to a March traffic stop were dropped against Chicago rapper Twista on Tuesday (May 24), after another individual involved pled guilty to a Class B misdemeanor count for possession of marijuana. 43-year-old Johnnie A. Euell claimed full ownership of the substance recovered, and confirmed that he had in fact been the one behind the wheel of the rapper’s Rolls Royce when it was pulled over for following too close to a truck on March 24. The Porter County sheriff’s office also revealed that associates Michael A. Moore, 43, and Darrin J. Woody, 26 were also charged. Eminem Selling Pieces Of Childhood Home
Eminem is selling pieces of wood and brick from his childhood house as collectible items to honor the 16th anniversary of his Marshall Mathers LP. The materials were recovered the rap star’s old home in 2013 when the building was demolished after being found structurally unsound. They are being sold at Eminem’s official website with packages including a cassette re-release of the 2000 album with a 3-D motion-printed cover. The bricks are limited to 700 and come in a plexiglass enclosure with a commemorative plaque on the side. According to reports, Gotti wants $80,000 and personal pain payouts for someone at a car spot crashing the vehicle last December. 2015 Young Money signee Stephanie Acevedo broke some exclusive news to her followers on Snapchat, Thursday (May 19), as she shared a video of her letting famed plastic surgeon Dr. Miami be the first to know that boss Lil Wayne has a new reality show in the works, and she will be on it. Nipsey Hussle Accepts Jail Time
Nipsey Hussle‘s codeine charge from about a year ago has ended with some relatively good news. He only has to serve two more days in jail for the crime. Back in June 2015, Crenshaw’s rap mayor was popped with codeine in his cup, mixed with ice and an unidentified soft drink and was arrested for that, as well as driving with a suspended license. Prosecutors have agreed with his legal team to dismiss the additional charge of riding around with the suspected syrup in accordance with his no contest plea, TMZ reports.
