Famed Actor Gene Wilder Dead at 83
Gene Wilder, known for his starring roles in “Willy Wonka” and “Blazing Saddles” passed away at the age of 83 due to complications Alzheimer’s disease. Wilder’s nephew confirmed the news to the Associated Press. He was diagnosed in 1999 with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which was treated with stem cell transplants and radiation. Wilder starred alongside late actor Richard Pryor in a host of movies, including “Stir Crazy,” “See No Evil, Hear No Evil,” and “Blazing Saddles,” cementing themselves as a powerhouse comedic duo. Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa Sued Over Fence Collapse
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are being sued for egging on concert-goers just before a railing collapsed at one of their concerts. The two artists are being sued by 17 attendees, who claim they were injured when the fencing collapsed during “The High Road” tour in Camden, New Jersey, on Aug. 5, according to TMZ. Snoop and Wiz reportedly yelled “Everybody in the motherf——g grass, bring your a– down here,” just before the fencing broke, according to the lawsuit. The victims claim that by shouting that line, the pair ignited the stampede, which caused concert-goers to fall about 10 feet onto a slab of concrete. Nearly 40 people were hurt…

Kevin Gates Offered Plea Deal
BARTOW — The State Attorney’s Office made a plea offer of jail time and probation in rapper Kevin Gates‘ battery case. Gates, whose real name is Kevin Jerome Gilyard, was not at a hearing Thursday when County Judge Sharon Franklin set a trial date for Oct. 24. Neither side would discuss details of the proposed plea deal. Gates’ lawyer, Sean Landers, said he planned to discuss the details of the offer with Gates. If convicted, Gates faces up to a year in jail for the misdemeanor battery charge.
