Kanye West’s Studio Was Robbed
Looks like there’s been another interruption in Kanye‘s creative process. Earlier this week, someone broke into his personal studio in Calabasas and took off with $20,000 in equipment. Sources told TMZ they got a call to Kanye’s Calabasas office last Tuesday for a burglary. They were told a door had been pried open overnight and the robber/robbers made off with laptops and desktop computers totaling around $20k. Luckily, all of the technology was protected by “heavy-duty tech security” so no new music will be leaking anytime soon, and all of the technology has been replaced already. The Trap God has been sprung!!! Gucci Mane has been released from prison after serving more than two years behind bars for a federal firearms charge, according to multiple reports. The “Trap House” rapper left the Indiana penitentiary early Thursday, four months earlier than scheduled, TMZ reported. He’ll reportedly spend a few months under home confinement before beginning probation. Twista Eludes Drug Charges
Drug charges related to a March traffic stop were dropped against Chicago rapper Twista on Tuesday (May 24), after another individual involved pled guilty to a Class B misdemeanor count for possession of marijuana. 43-year-old Johnnie A. Euell claimed full ownership of the substance recovered, and confirmed that he had in fact been the one behind the wheel of the rapper’s Rolls Royce when it was pulled over for following too close to a truck on March 24. The Porter County sheriff’s office also revealed that associates Michael A. Moore, 43, and Darrin J. Woody, 26 were also charged. Eminem Selling Pieces Of Childhood Home
Eminem is selling pieces of wood and brick from his childhood house as collectible items to honor the 16th anniversary of his Marshall Mathers LP. The materials were recovered the rap star’s old home in 2013 when the building was demolished after being found structurally unsound. They are being sold at Eminem’s official website with packages including a cassette re-release of the 2000 album with a 3-D motion-printed cover.
