Meek Mills Sentenced to House Arrest
Meek Mill has been ordered to serve his sentence on house arrest, according to WHYY Philadelphia reporter Bobby Allyn, who accessed the arrest records. Allyn was not able to live-tweet since the judge confiscated all phones and laptops, but he was able to provide a detailed update on Meek’s case on his Twitter account, which can be viewed above. In short, Meek will have to serve a minimum of 90 days on house arrest beginning March 1. Big Kap’s Cause of Death Revealed
The death of legendary New York DJ Big Kap was announced earlier this week, and now his road manager, known professionally as Ab Traxx, revealed his cause of death. With barely two months into 2016, the music industry has already seen a bevy of powerful losses. Maurice White, founding member of Earth, Wind & Fire passed away in his sleep today at age 74. The Memphis native was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the late ‘80s, forcing him off the stage by 1994. He founded Earth, Wind & Fire in 1969, and is the older brother of fellow member Verdine White.
